Growth changes what leadership requires.
We advise leaders through critical moments of growth, from the decisions they make to the teams they lead and the cultures they shape.
THE PROBLEM
The leadership gap
Every company eventually reaches a breaking point where its growth outpaces the capacity of its leadership. In founder-led brands, this gap emerges earlier and with greater force. The instincts that drove early success become the primary constraint on scale.
OUR THESIS
Leadership is a growth lever, not a soft skill.
We believe leadership is the most overlooked lever for growth.
The future belongs to companies that know how to use their team as an asset. Strengths are leveraged, communication is intentional, and culture is built to scale.
Together, these form the engine behind category-defining companies.
OUR METHODOLOGY
We focus on the inputs that shape the outputs.
Our methodology is proprietary and research-backed. It compounds growth at the intersection of three pillars: your core leadership, your connected, and your cultural leadership. Each cycle, we assess and develop all three to move leaders toward the outcome they're building toward.
OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Barbara Levin
Dr. Barbara Levin is the founder of Altora and one of the leading voices on leadership today.
With a background in education and a doctorate in organizational leadership, she has spent over a decade studying how leaders think, decide, and scale, then applying that research directly inside the organizations she advises. She diagnoses what's tangling a leader up, measures it, and turns it into a growth strategy.
Through Altora, she has partnered with founders and leadership teams at brands including Ulta, Microsoft, Topicals, Set Active, Chillhouse, and more.
A core philosophy drives her practice: an organization can only move as fast as its leader. Companies grow when leaders grow.
Her work has been featured in Forbes.
